Our Big Bordeaux-style blend is made from the best Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. A fresh, well balanced dry white wine.  Made from grapes grown in their Langley vineyard.  Distinctive fruity bouquet with a light spice finish.  Very satisfying taste.  A true Vancouver “100 Mile Diet” wine!

Delightful with jumbo prawns, BBQ salmon and of course, Caesar Salad.

 

Gray Monk 2008 Odyssey Pinot Gris $23.99

Block 08 of the Gray Monk Vineyard was selected by the Heiss Family, who first introduced Pinot Gris to Canada. Planted in 1978, this block’s terroir and western exposure over Okanagan Lake has produced fruit of exceptional flavour. Dedicated handwork and careful crop management helped to intensify the characteristics of this British Columbia’s premier grape, Pinot Gris.

Pretty salmon pink colour with aromas of pomegranate, , strawberry, ripe cherry and a hint of earthiness.  This is a dry medium-bodied wine with mouth-watering flavours of red  fruits that linger on the finish.

Road 13 2009 Honest John Red $19.90

Pinot Noir with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon? – AN ATROCITY! Except for the pragmatist tasting the

alternatives! Blended with the Cinsault, these individuals gave us a blend with unbelievable fresh raspberry fruit character, with layers of other berries in the background. The tannins and the acidity are soft. This is not a wine to age for more than a couple of years but in those couple of years it will be remarkably easy to swallow.

A wine that is crisply elegant and satisfying to drink. It is a single vineyard Riesling that has been under development for about five years. Martin’s Lane is the vineyard just below Mission Hill’s winery which was planted about 1995 to Riesling and Pinot Noir. It is an aromatic wine with layers of peach, apricot and tangerine, vanilla cream and a dusting of sweet spice. Mouth-watering acidity lifts the palate, flavours of stone fruit and citrus peel, vanillin oak and exotic spice. Try this full bodied Okanagan red.  It’s a fabulous mix of Gamay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. A delicious new combination of fruit and perfect balance. A unique blend of Merlot, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Dunkelfelder, zweigelt, Fruhburgunder, Lemberger, Agria, Haroldrebe, Helfensteiner & Korento.  Flavours of black fruits & cherry with vanilla & spice notes from 12 months of barrel aging. This wine has a nice balance of fruit, tannin & acidity that allow it to drink well young but will age nicely for up to 5 years.

Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Pinot Gris

4 grape varieties are blended together to make this mouth watering “man-made” blend.  Peach & honey aromas.  Flavours of tropical guava, citrus & macadamia nut are balanced by crisp acidity.

Vibrant strawberry & lemon flavours with hints of fresh mint are countered with a touch of spice & clean crisp acidity.  Our rosé is delicious, fiesty & ready to drink

 

Poplar Grove 2008 Chardonnay $21.90

This classic Chardonnay has aromas of green apples, peaches, & a hint of cashew nuttiness. Nectarine, honey & pear flavours arrive on the palate. Mineral & citrus notes come through on the finish. 20% of the grapes were barrel aged, which adds a hint of toast & caramel while the stainless portion brings on solid fruit & clean acidity.

 

Poplar Grove 2005 Legacy $49.90

65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec

Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months, followed by 18 months of bottle aging.

Rich & complex, layers of blackberry, vanilla spice and tobacco.  Integrated oak & polished tannins make for a long supple finish. Seductive and getting better with age.
